Lysine

L-Lysine is a naturally occurring substance called an amino acid. Amino acids are the building blocks of all proteins. Proteins in our body are used to make the molecular array that runs our metabolic processes. Our bodies have tremendous control over amino acids because we are so dependent on them. We are constantly making and destroying amino acids and connecting them to one another to maintain the exquisite balance of our system.

Please consult your medical practitioner prior to using any medications or supplements should you be under their care. Lysine has little known side-effects as it is an amino acid that the human body needs.

Lysine should not be taken with milk or any foods that contain milk as it neutralizes the effects of Lysine.

I have had hemorrhoids for over ten years. In my line of work, supporting rural community development in the countries of Latin America and Africa, the discomfort was exacerbated by extensive travel over rough roads and long walks off the roads in hot climates.

Well, it is now Sunday and I think I have experienced a miracle.
