Peter Klapper is the founder and CEO of Forces of Nature®, the first company to manufacture USDA Certified Organic and FDA Registered medicines. He founded the company with a vision to heal the world. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, which include the formulation and manufacturing processes, Mr. Klapper travels the globe in search of new soothing botanicals and remedies, sourcing rare materials from every corner of the Earth – a tea tree from the coast of Australia, lavender grown in France’s remote Alps-de-Haute-Provence and a highly potent genus of geranium from Madagascar, to name just a few.
Mr. Klapper created Forces of Nature in 2000 as a way to create effective, all-natural remedies. Over the past 11 years, he has worked diligently to create a new standard in natural medicine. In 2011, Forces of Nature became the first manufacturer of certified organic and registered medicines with the launch of its Control line, USDA Certified Organic and FDA Registered topical medicines that target 10 hard-to-treat conditions including acne, herpes cold sores (caused by herpes simplex 1 or 2), scars and more. By conducting extensive field research with industry experts, Mr. Klapper developed treatments that meet or exceed FDA and USDA regulations, earning the company’s medicines dual certifications.
Under his leadership, the company actively engages in efforts to make the world a healthier place. Forces of Nature provides food, medicine and supplies to communities in need, educates homeless children on the importance of nutrition and hygiene, and donates money to orphanages in Asia. Mr. Klapper has also volunteered with Action Against Famine in Southeast Asia. He was part of a medical expedition, which was the first to trek the Ho Chi Minh trail providing medicine and education regarding harvesting of crops to the indigenous hill tribe population.
Mr. Klapper earned his Ph.D. in biology from Kiev University and holds a B.A. from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
